Out of control rubbish up this way Ted, might settle down tomorrow or Wednesday,interesting on the current radar though the heaviest rain(yellow) looks to be inland and not a whole lot of rain left north of brisbane.

Yep the fence line,I live in a massive fresh water estate which has a lock system to main river and ocean,its up about 1.5 meters,I've seen it higher way above the top of the back fence.

morning chaps....the wind has eased here in the last 30 mins and the rain almost stopped....according to the radar Sydney still getting smashed. Off to check beach out and see how much and has been lost.....

swell backed right off this morning and the beach still has lots of sand...result ! Now we just waiting for the wind to go south and its game on....

here is the updated weather report for today - weird or what!!

Cloudy. Areas of rain, possibly heavy at times, easing to isolated showers during the morning, clearing during the afternoon. Damaging north to northeasterly winds 60 to 70 km/h, easing during the morning then becoming southerly 25 to 40 km/h in the late afternoon.

Ted how did you miss the days of rain and Sydney got itor the front has not made its way south yet

Some blue sky very claim not a drop of wind but they say more rain for the rest of the week.

Sh1tloads of rain last night.
I think they call it driving rain. As opposed to what ? flying rain ? Riding rain? walking rain ? WTF am I talking about ?
I must get off the endone (whatever that is).

we have had 3 days of rain!!! Just not as heavy as you guys more like 80mm a day than 200mm....the garden is wet through but looks in better shape than yours

just dropped the girl to work.....wow some big arse trees down all over the joint. am going to ride to the spit today and check it all out

here is a couple i took while driving yesterday


gateway bridge with 90km winds[}:)]
bridge where the water is usually 20ft below flooded the road. big tree knocked over power pole. best i could do driving. am still trying to find the upside down car

Clearing by the minute birds are flying singing a couple of swans looking at me saying feed me please,lizards swimming back to the other side,no snakes spotted some far.

Well I got up early popped some lenses on the eye balls and went for a look 12fter on da roof it was lumpy as up the coast , clean in town but just a bit small . So homer to watch Finding Big Foot on the Box morning all hope it's better your way

Yeah not many people having a go today which was surprising, had my local to myself as well after a friend on a SUP went in...got to test out a new fin placement but not really big enough to get a good idea. Need more testing
