Ok 'noob alert', how does a diamond tail fit/perform into the blend of tail designs?
What a diamond tail does for you is that it gives the board a longer stringer with shorter rails. What this does is it gives the board more reach and easier paddling but will be a bit looser due to the short rail. Sounds a bit far fetched but it works, Ive had one
They work really well as a quad.
Also pulls your turning point forward as apposed to a squash or square
