The last one for the year came off the production line a few days ago. 6'9" * 21 * 2 5/8. This one was for a good friend - first commission - although it was done at cost Her husband and I made it for her birthday and she is one happy camper. I am hoping to make myself something similar next year when I am back and have had a few surfs on this one. Its based off a Joel Tudor Diamond Egg. Still a couple of hick ups with the glassing process but there has been a rapid improvement in technique (if I may say so myself) and consequently the result over the last few boards. Can not wait to start the next one - I might have recently received a voucher from the good lady for my birthday - a 10'4" blank with a big fat cedar stringer
nice Ted, have you ever thought about just doing solid 1 colour tints?
Great looking boards Ted, you should be very proud of yourself mate
Thanks fellas.....BS - I did not have any say in the colours on this one ! I am hoping to do a straight blue tint on the next one - similar to Simondo's preference. I brought a really nice container of blue tint and it looks unreal. Can not wait to play with it. Not thought about doing a solid block colour though. I used a block colour on the first one - but just the end section
They are some nice looking shooters Ted! How much do you charge (are you cheaper than mctavish?) and do you ship to WA??
Nice work bro...I am just waiting for my paint to arrive and I should have a couple fo new sticks to post up before christmas
