OK doggie,if you want to jump into every forum on seabreeze and hi jack with your comedy act that's fine I am not the forum police, but I also want some serious longboarding discussions and if you want to hi jack it,well it defeats the purpose for other forum uses, ask yourself why Asea is no longer in here, enough said.

Serious longboard talk? Isn't that a few old blokes sitting around getting pissed over-stating their heyday?

Bit boring? Still I would be up for some relaxed conversation! No, I don't mean get stoned and reminising my youth (althought that might be fun)?

Are you looking for a nibble

Nibble? Don't get ii?

Still, I am going to the Snowy next weekend. Being perpetually broke instead of a nibble I would be stoked if anyone could shout me lunch or dinner.

The last time I surfed the Snowy was 93 when I scored a second in the old mal, so.YES, I am a genuine longboarder. Since Christmas I have been riding a SUP. However, I have been finding the scene in the SUP forum too tight to have a decent conversation.

Wow second in the Snowy that's great resultThe sup forum is full of all things serious which is how they roll in there all good but I'm not a serious person,I'm lucky to last 5 mins of being serious, not me can't do serious

There are nice people in the sup room, you could always chat with Lacey but he is in here more so

Don't get me wrong, the SUP guys are good blokes. I suppose it is like anything when your getting involved in something new?

On the other hand I have been riding longboards for nearly three decades. With the Snowy, it is a pity I just miss the O/45s. Not for the advantage, but so I could get out in the water with the guys I surfed against over the years. Oh, I should also mention the ladies. In the quarters of the 92 Snowy 9' open I got a fourth just in front of Pam Burridge, who was giving it a go against the men.

Yes, but I have spent all week fixing the boat to sail to Sydney for the Snowy. If there is a bit of wind tommorrow I should be able to get to Newcastle and dump off my shortboard for a classic mal. Then if the predicted westerly comes on Monday, it should be a nice sail to Manly before the next big southerly hits. By then I will really be keen to duck over for a surf!

Hopefully you should get some waves down there, good luck with the journey.

and feel free to post up a few photos of the old mal if you get time. Boys in here love a photo.
