i recon you blokes are champs for sticking it out,
i would of been a wet blanket with that happening.
i hope the grubs get caught and have to play mummy with big bubba.
Great trip lads, Vanders you where man down with the man flu but stuck it out great effort, lets hope the next trip doesn't have a drama!! Was great to meet the crew that went to Byron, cheers
Sorry to hikack the thread but some poor fella died at the pass this arvo

well i got this shiz all wrong while you guys did byron we booked couple nites in a great apartment walking distance to tea tree.. scored some beautiful uncrowded waves at tea tree just the best.
the apartment would be great for a road trip to noosa...a bit old but sleeps 8 !! and is like 170 a night
After this weekend s surf lacey. Byron is way worse in the surf, well at the pass anyway. Noosa is just filled with more arrogant coffee shop wankers.
Lacey I was not trying to change your post, it was my subtree fingers mate. Yet it does sound like something you would say lol
I would go. A weekend in Noosa is better than a weekend in Bris
Just need to find where the happy hour Coopers Pale Ale Schooners are served
Good weekend chaps....just a shame about the waves....the previous 7 days had been magic until you all showed up sorry I did not see much of you but somehow on Friday night things got away from me and I ended up writing off Saturday
Good to see Mac and Chrispy again and finally putting a face to the rest of the boys. Nice bunch of blokes even if there Pizza choices leave me some what dismayed
Shame about the car and wallets etc - good to see Blair step up to the mark and take care of the boys financially - great team sprit. I saw Vanders board from miles away walking up the beach at the Pass - that thing glows!!!! It was also great to see that the Beer Garden board is alive and well - Daneli was giving it a fair crack despite the unsuitable conditions. SDR has done a beautiful job on it. It should be in my possession now but sadly there was not enough room in the car to get it back. I am hoping it will be here shortly though. TB's new board looks unreal as well....he even brought me over some marmite but sadly I could not reconnect for a pick up. Hope he puts it to good use.
The waves were **** in my defence and the weather poor I was also surfed out.....after my session on the Trapez I was spent - I am still struggling now - parts of my body are reminding me that they still exist
