Absolute crap all weekend again here in Port Stephens! I cannot remember the last good weekend. Coastalwatch predicted swell again but we didn't see squat, again!! In there defence I think nearby Newy might of got some. I'm over it!!!
missed out yesterday due to family commitments, but had a couple of decent surfs at longy today
Me and MR just managed to get the last few before the wind swung around this arvo
3 surfs in two days, at Dee Why and Longy. Good for the first hour of each, junk for the second.
Glad I have the Diverse 10'1", I don't think I would have had such fun on smaller.
^^^^
yeah Saturday morning for an hour or 2 , yesterday was a scenic day only - today ???? well geez Hugh
Yeah pays to listen to the Ministry of Financials & Meat Roasting at this time of year Christmas nookie is always festive
Thursday mate
Torquay this weekend... average!! Well below average... Gardening this morning, and supermarket shop early afternoon....
If I didn't do the gardening, I was actually going to dust down the 666... and get it wet...
Last two days have been savaged by southerly here in Tombstone , bit of size to it but not clean bumpy closing off .... still got a couple of hours both days ... galleries starting to fill over Xmas its a given we know that .... eyes are getting a good workout talent is smoking hot right now
We are just not getting anything Ted at Port Stephens, 1ft max, but still packed within 1/2 hour even though I am in the water at 4:45am. I have had to surf the 666 a lot lately as I hate grovelling amongst the crowds on the mal so I paddle way down the beach into shark breeding territory.
Well its the weekend, with most off on holidays I've been web surfing and missed out once again
So desperate to wash the Indian dust off will there be anything tomorrow,I hear Sunday could be ok
out of the blue today we had some sweet 2-4ft clean gems , stormy skies & 38 degrees but geez it was good to be out ... farken good actually
Just had a look at the forecast shares on the BOM site and it looks like a low forming up north QLD and drifting south. Waves coming by the look of it. Might be a good year for cyclone swells up there.
Just spent the last 2 days surfing Palmy with 4 others waist high logging waves no good for shortys needless to say we were getting wave after wave
I am surfed out....shoulders hurt...need to recover in time for the morning session. Weird up here at the moment - loads of people around but I seemed to have been timing my sessions and locations well and not had a crowded surf yet. Surfed late morning and there were 15 out when I arrived and 7 came in before I got down to the jump off point - surfed for an hour and a half and then 5 more paddled out so I called it quits.....a mate surfed that spot this morning with 20 others at 7am....I surfed somewhere else with just 4. So perhaps I should buy a lottery ticket!
As SMH and Prawn have pointed out its looking mint for you QLDers next week......love to come up and share some with ya but not until Jan is over and school is back in session. When it is I will be doing a northward drive though!
