Wow Pup, what a credit to you, the workmanship looks awesome! What a cool look, I could just imagine a dozen mals and surfers turning up to pick me up on the way to Bells in this lol
Pup I'm so impressed I don't know where to begin, that build is an absolute credit to your skills & patience mate, a job very well done! Hope to buy a ticket on her one day.
There's a show on TVS, Chanel 44 called "classic truck restos" hosted by this complete nob called "fletch".
That bus is way better than that any of the usual boring crap they have on the show
Thanks Pup, been to stressed after dodging redundancies at my work ( BAE Systems) to go on forums and drag everyone down. Anyway all good now. Love the spray on the surf bus also, wish the East Coast had them back in the day. But boy you would of needed them in Perth, what a frustrating surf spot lol. Drove me nuts when I was in the military there. Thank God for Rottness Is.
Fantastic resto Pup, love the old Bedford and leyland buses. Is this one of yours young enough for a syncro box or do you have the joy of a crash box?..
Pup I'm still blown away by this thing,I know you said you spent 100s of hours on it but can you tell me in months, years this project took to complete? Are you keeping it?and are you working on another one?
That surf bus is way cool too.
First thing I did when I got up was check this post again Pup I cant imagine how patient and methodical you must be to complete such a resto, I will think of this next time I have to change my mower blades and get totally stressed and throw the shifter to the shizhouse
