8'0"x24"x3.25" Michael Cundith Mini Mal in faster steeper surf
7'2"x23"x3" Michael Cundith/George Greenough Stubbie in nice big sucky fast waves
The BIC goes really well. Those chines make for a pretty fast board. One step forward and she takes off like a rocket. Got it second hand off ebay for $300, so definately can't complain!
Indian Beach Hull is my go to board up to about nipple high. Nice retro rails and bottom with a hint of an edge in the last 12" or so. 9' Greenough 4A in the fin of choice but been running with the L-flex 9" liddle of late.
Ben modelling.

oooops, now i've really done it.
****, i just better shut up.
somebody helppppppppp me
Fark me, I caught some smoking waves earlier. Caught wave of the session too! A smoker through Lowers (Winki). I could see lovely waves standing up tall over at Rincon (Bells), and I took the punt that the same set was going to hit Lowers pretty strongly. I stroked out to the horizon on the 9'6 Occasional Pin, and could not believe my luck. Perfect positioning for "wave of the day". It was a screamer... overhead and a half, all down the line. The board goes unreal!!
Ended up way down the end again, near The Cave. On the long walk along the narrow beach I thought about Jill and dedicated that wave to her memory... even though I never met her.

Doggie - I've always been a fan of that board. Looks like a keeper!
Edit - my drug is LBL - Longboarding at Lowers!
Coupla photos of 9'6' Jackson 10 oz volane. Single concave into rolled bottom. (Note rocker or lack of)Great fun in small clean surf. The cedar stringer touches the volane off neatly IMO.
Hey pete, I just thought of a good name for your board.
It's a Jackson, and it's white.
Why don't you call it "Michael"
