surf at marrawah few weeks back , I didnt surf it way too big ,some of these waves would be 20 foot plus easy.check out the view these cows have , overlooking greens beach
Just got back from Bali, nothing flash, just some beachies off Legian, 2/3 foot peelers till the tide came in and back out at 5:30pm till sunset
After a week of good surf its essentially flat here today.....lets hope things improve a tad tom as they are forecast to
You wouldnt have recognized salty yesterday Ted, surfed 1 foot peelers in the corner, a far cry from earlier in the week.
Me and a mate went out for 1.5 hours between Lugo and shark tower and we both filled our quotas.
We went for quantity, not quality.
I was even on the 10.6 munoz for the 1st time since I bought the Soul Surf, took me a while to relearn how to turn the big old mofo.
Tried to surf the reefie this morning but it needs another day to settle after the storm fronts we've had bloody sand hasn't settled properly.... bit closey and inco bit of sand up me bum crack , in my ears .... but got wet and got a few ....
great waves midsize mid afternoon at the alley. cracking along the bank all the way nearly to laceys.
reo's and cutbacks all the way
i was done and dusted after 6 waves- it was good. the kind of waves you can really find form and see how hard you can push it
Once again I laugh at surf reporters. Head high on most waves and a fair few bigger ones on the rising tide. Not as many crew but it was pretty straight. Got a couple of Good ones but not enough to make me happy. On a good note my duck diving skills have gone through the roof.
Did that once lacey with the pots. Thought I would have a check before I lifted it out. Was happy with what I had seen in them so picked it up and tried to get to my 666. Bloody heavy yet I was determined till one of the farkers got hood off my finger. Glad I was not chasing muddies
