amazing what 24hrs difference there is in waves couple of nice ones very early but the devil northerly tore the crap out of it as the morning went on ... geez
very cross choppy mate - went in straight after my morning post got only a few so slow and fat compared with yesterday sadly ... amazing what not even 24hrs makes isn't it
3ft hollow peaks here - first surf in what seems like an eternity! Its been firing all week and I have missed it Oh well at least I got a nice quick session in. Bring on a week off
Nowhere but life just go a little easier,I've just employed another staff member = better lifestyle for my wife and more surf time for me.
STOKED
Good work Mac^!
Today, I surfed overhead Bells Beach Bowl. Paddled out at about 11am, 5 knots onshore, but good lines, and relatively good shape, although the bigger sets were inconsistent. Often only 2 waves to a set, and sometimes, 1 was a big rogue thing...
1 person on The Bowl when I paddled out. I was number 2. My mate Luca and another guy paddled out to join me. Just 4 of us... 4 man heat! At lunchtime, about 6 paddled out, so I called it quits.
Fun day! Hawaii trip also booked and paid today.
We're gunna a full week of surf... Seems like it will be 7 days straight, of long walls of fun... Offshore, and head high and/or over... Come on over and join us for some mid-week fun!
Long Right Hand Point Breaks!
Had a nice little session yesterday 3-4 foot no one out..wind actually swung offshore and dropped just as I paddled out....gotta love that
I just got home for an AWESOME session on The Bells Bowl !
So much fun.
Minimal crowds... Winter Sessions hey!?
Went passed the shops on the way home, and you park where ever you like.
I like Winter down here. Crowds really thin out!
I think they must have all escaped up this way Simondo - no shortage of them at the main spots. I just surfed a peak by myself for 1.5 hrs....still able to do it if you know where or get lucky
Ted, I had 10 minutes on my own at The Bells Bowl yesterday!
And today, I couldn't put a foot wrong! 3 wave sets, and I was picking off the biggest ones every time. I felt embarrassed towards the end! But 3 of my best ones, I did "roll the dice" and stoked out to the horizon, and knew too well... either I'm out too far, and will miss out, or I might get lucky and be in a very good spot... Today, I got lucky! Sometimes life just serves you up Jokers instead of Aces!
Another All Day Offshore Day, plus 3 solid feet of surf. Reefs are over head, to 1.5 overhead. Pumping again!
Catch you guys later! I will take the camera.
