Here's a few I snapped quickly from around home this morning, sorry they are pretty average quality was in a hurry to get somewhere.
it was smoking. I almost dropped in on my way home but don't surf crowds anymore so decided against it. I now regret that decision big time from what the lads told me after they got out.
I hope he was out there as the tide was dropping - with the NE swell it really lines up nicely - the inside section gets nice and hollow and is very makable with loads of set up time.
Forgot to mention obct that a shark was spotted out at the point this morning. I was not far away but did not see it. Thank goodness for that. One of the older fellas on his surf ski saw it. We have had loads of bait fish and salmon cruising the shoreline in recent weeks. I am hoping that the boys in the grey suits are well fed at the moment and leave me alone. It seem in Saffa land at the moment that the shark biscuits really are shark biscuits.
I was on nightshift Wednesday and we were out in that swell but it was really short period then about 7-8 seconds and got tossed everywhere. At one point we got into a rain squall and couldnt even see Wollongong.last night the period was around 11 seconds so it had a lot more grunt today. Hopefully I can get some more pics and put them up tomorrow and I can do it all by myself now
The Aussies are going to smash the Kiwi's tonight.[}:)]
here is some new material for you Doggie. As I have told you before we prefer the real ones - and by cliff edges so they push back harder. When you are over there TB will get you some velcro gloves until you get the technique sorted
