ok,if you dont like the title it will be changed. ted it was your hard work/hahaha that has started this. well im off soon so i will have some pics when i get back. starting of the perfect day. watch shortland street while rubbing and hugging board, light rain and a gentle westerly blowing with a rising swell...siiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccckkkkkkk
so even if its crap out there boys, write a surf report and pics would be a bonus
Manly - north north east wind from the look of it, one foot north swell, mid tide and rising. Pretty average really handfull of people in the water.
Pretty grey and uninviting not really worth a picture.
opposite seaworld and tried the spit,1-2ft slop. waves coming from about 50 million different directions. pics just look like grey ****

Hey Weiry,I'm loving your Friday arvo mate, still got another 3 hours before I can crack one.
Now was that a ****** 666 on the roof in one of those photos, sure looked like a Naish
wiked pics weiry wtf is with the beer choice. you queenslanders get all macho like and there you all are drinking that ****.
surf at midpoint rocks this arv 2-3 foot surprised its not packed
surf looking out at penguin reef
the action in front of Burnie
Mid Point Rocks looks pretty tempting Mr Devilman (adopting Chrispy's nickname - hope you do not mind)......just had a look on the map where that it is. You are pretty sheltered in there. I imagine in winter you get lots of lefts from the west and rights in the summer from the east swells
All left handers Ted unfortunately on the right is a big rock shelf . can get a nice tube in closer and some size going when the fronts come through from the west - bit rugged for me ,
really nice long point break when the easterlys blow
great for the longboard
1 ft with the occasional 2 footer but very weak / soft. Wind is brisk and offshore - it really feels like winter is upon us now. Ouch! Water is still relatively warm though if you are keen to get wet.
seaworld, perfect 1-2ft glass. left and rights. would have been perfect for the but,i left it home, stupidly. will be blowing w all day,so i will be back with the for seconds. will take some pics when the sun is out
latey.. yeh my feet were freezing walking through the sand.....then that beautiful warm water
^^^^^^ Ted, that looks like your most favoured spot around your neck of the woods.
I surfed that break in 86 and reckon it was up there with the best beach breaks I ever surfed. Does that bird break around the corner go good as well ?
Where was that warm water again Chrispy ?
Flat as here supposed to stay that way for next 5 or so days . Good day to get the boat out and chase some salmon
