Cool pics DSB. Went for a dive yesterday too. 20m and it was crystal clear. Saw everything. Duwies, baldies, black arses, foxies and 12 crays managed to find their way into my bag too just to top it off

There was a nice wave at Trigg this morning with hardly anybody out. Half a dozen in the usual spot and nobody north of the flags with a good bank there. Uncrowded good waves going to waste!

PS: Well over dick height, probably dick and a half.

No - it's not. It will affect your surfing two fold... 1) the extra weight - and 2) the constant soreness from 'delayed onset muscle soreness'...

Looks like someone might finally buy your egg then eh Doggie?
Damn, guess I'll be reassessing my boards once I hit 80kg then. Loving my little 5'6 twinner atm though so maybe I'll just keep at it and hope I can get good enough to use it even if I weight alittle more.

And GPA yeh, DOMS is the bane of all evil. Atleast it's summer and been flat the last few days?

Anyone get some abs yesterday?? I went round the corner from my house and was surprsied as apart from the 50-60 people on the reef, there was only about 6-10 people free diving for them. ABSoulutely perfect weather for it too.

A mate got some massive ones on Saturday down south, shells were 6-8inches across. He did a great job of cooking them on the barbi as well.

I spotted a couple of dhuies under a rock next to where I found these bad boys, so I'll be heading back there on the 15th [}:)]

I don't think you are able to fish until the 16th. Fisheries website says the Demersal ban is inclusive of the the 15th of december.
If I am wrong please let me know as I'm fanging to get out there.

confirmed Woodo, if weather is ok we'll do an overnighter we're hanging that much, reports of dhuies in close just makes it worse!!!

Some nice waves rolling through this morning. Easy double Dick height and guys getting some nice waves. I sat of the side and after an hour or so ventured into the pack. But with about 4 or 5 good guys they absolutely stitched it all up[}:)]
Couple of others dropping in on them so the good guys just took every wave they could. Shame really as they should evaluate not everyone is the same and shared a little..

Friday 10:15...

Don't bother. Everywhere metro is flat or close to... small [very small] wave at Trigg 3rd's about waist high sets, but it is straight and quite shallow and there are two surf schools all over it.

Had a look further towards Scarbs but it was the same, but less consistent.

Too small to travel with any confidence of being rewarded for your time/petrol...

It was that bad I can home to wash the car and mow the lawns...

This morning was small and shallow but mellow. Had a great time chating with the guys and really enjoyed my surf. Didn't like all the sting rays hanging around and the birds diving in and getting bait fish around us. One landed about 10 feet from me and another guy
