Why would you not go surfing today or yesterday suba? It was fairly obvious from the quickest glance at the forecasts that it would be good. Surely with your flexible schedule and living at the beach you could fit in a quick hour or two. Yesterday was good, today was good, Monday was ****ing amazing. 7 days and counting, Tuesday afternoon the only (slight) letdown.

Because I have way too much work to do, because I over-lived the flexible lifestyle for the past 6 months and achieved very little...and now I'm paying for it.
I'll probably sneak out this afternoon.

Feel better?

Don't really care on my part, just surprised you're abstaining given one of the best weeks in recent winters. There _was_ a guy in boardies this morning but he was too old to be suba.

Yeah - it was a bit too big for itself where I was too... most of the sets just had a big long wall that closed out. The smaller ones insider were the go, but then you ended up paddling for the horizon too often when the big sets came through.

The good ones today at Perth's favourite beaches were in my a lot more hard to come by IMO. That said, managed a barrel or two and some nice big carves. At about midday I noticed Point Packed had only 4 guys on it.... and there were some great waves coming through. I didn't know if I was missing something, but snagged myself half a dozen better than average waves in half an hour before numbers exploded again. Right place, right time? Satisfied.

Hope some other breezers are feeling the same!

Yes, the banks have really straightened up since the storm. Getting worse day by day.
