Any one have any pictures of some old single fins in the 6'10" range. Last board I need for the quiver and I'm going to have some time after shoulder surgery when I'm not allowed to surf but I'll be able to make a board. Rode one in Costa Rica and the thing was awsome, push comes to shove I might make something like the wombat but I'd like a classic.

I can hear the missus voice now, "Christopher why is there another board in the spare room"

I want a single fin so bad, ive been tempted to order a Treehouse board they look good, or the Al Merrick single fin, nice glass jobs, I am fortunate not to have to worry about the GF as she is cool with the boards.(rare)

Yeah I was eyeing the AM's for a while there a sweet looking board. There a "botique" surf shop in Manly (heratige surf) that has some wicked retro's in it (2 DT single fins full on board porn).

Interesting thing about the tree house boards is there no more expensive than a epoxy. DL got a twinny from them a while back if I remember right.

I could try grab a couple shots of the DT's, not sure if there keen on me doing profile shots of the boards in the store though .

I'm still waiting for someone to laminate in epoxy before I get a custom though.

I see we are on the same page here cRaZy the lotus looks the goods. They can put tint in epoxy? Not a lot epoxy boards here atm..

Yeah you can tint epoxy the same as you would poly you just need to use the right tinting agents.

I like the look of the Bonzar, just with out the freaky side fins.

DL: are the treehouse boards glassed or sealed?

Yea that bonza looked mad, Ive always wondered what they would go like. Im thinking I might order a treehouse as a single fin & I might go for a MR retro twin, they look awsome.
DL how does your Treehouse go?

This is similar one of the Bing Synchronizer, although I only just saw the Bing and noted the likeness. Made this 6' x 21" x 2 3/4" with a sweet resin tint.

I generally do about one or two a week. Only orders, never get around to doing any stock boards. Hardly ever do two boards the same so its a good way to go. Mainly do eggs, fish, logs and any other retro variation.
Here is an interesting keel fish for a Brazilian dude.

This is a cool mal with a white resin tint and flouro band made for Monkey-boy Frank.

It goes good. Fast and loose. By far the fastest board I've ridden. Handles the big stuff as well as the small stuff.

Mine is 6oz glass under .6mm pine laminate which is then epoxy flow-coated.

Ive been riding a channel island rob machado 6'6 single fin for about three years its got a double concave and came with a mad raked flexi fin. The blank was **** (compressed and delaminated on the deck) but its one of my favorite boards to ride! for single fins i would also look at anything shaped by simon jones (morning of the earth surfboards) i,ve had a keel fin fish shaped by him for around two years, fastest board i ever rode! very simple board, low profile rails beautiful rolled deck flat bottom and slightly pulled in at the tail. he does some great single fins.

Funny you should post that pic cRaZy, I emailed treehouse yesterday for a quote on the same single fin but a 6,2 with a deep red band around the outline. Funny that you mention surfboard porn in one of your other threads, I call it the same thing my gf recons I sleep with em when she isnt around, its not true

Good thing about wood is that it retains heat, unlike the gf that steals it [}:)]

I have a rule not to let boards in the bed but I might bend the rule for something like that.
