Taj is through to the first semi but will be against Slater who is charging as per usual.
Barrels everywhere. 
Final coming up Slater V Adriano de Souza.
Slater up to his usual tricks in the heats, 10's, switchfoot barrels etc.
The final was a bit of of a fizzer actually compared to the heats but still some good waves.
Taj B has another title "stolen" by the FREAK needing a score in the last minutes of a heat/final ......far- me how many times has he done that to Taj (and a few others i guess), a 10 on the last wave of a heat. KE11Y SL8TER has the ocean under his control im sure of it
except in the FINAL bloody Brazo wins again maybe fuel some more "heat" between adriano and slater
Wicked comp though run and won in 3 days FUEL on foxtel goooooooooooood
commentry was good too the yank TURPEL and DOHERTY were froth monsters
and how cool were his switchfoot barrels...up there with slugging down a brewski in the barrel at Tahiti or Fiji after scoring 2 x 10s in the final
the man is a ALIEN but bloody good to watch surf
the judges are normally spot on but sometimes they give extra point when they are needed.
i think it was a great event and im super stoked to be the in 1 month
.... can't wait for some holidays
