^ Unpossible! I've got no idea where it is, but then I don't think I've ever surfed north of Trigg Pt in the metro area (OK, once when I was 12). Looks like a left off Trigg Pt/Blue Holes.
Ah, in that case I'd go with doggie's guess or be more specific and say Garden Island. The only times I've been there there hasn't been much going on but I'm led to believe there are one or two waves. Similar to Penguin Island, I know there are meant to be waves but the couple of times I've been there are a heap of emo boogers taking off over shallow reef and not much of a wave to talk about. Your pic looks nice though.
Check the beachie in epicswells' 18 May report . Old favourite reef break looking good too. I would almost give a nut for a session at that beachie. Not sure where it is but I'll bet someone knows. Perfection.
Thought i should put a post on this forum so this is my first surfing post. yah
it could be over seas but its on the East coast of AUS
Hey paul.j and welcome to shortboards
I saw that on SUP and yes it looks just like Indo, were you there when that session went down?
Fek thommo you locals up there must be carrying some large cajones!
Your main break certainly is an intimidating wave.
Photo's were taken from a different angle than the usual but those that have surfed them will recognise the spots especially the second one.
These were just a couple of the days I had my camera, the photo's of the best days are etched in my mind.
^^^yep good old days, looks to be scan of print?...its rare to see only 3 boats nowadays
...and the top shot is one fickle mofo but nice when the conditions all come together. Even in more recent times have been surprised to get it uncrowded, even to ourselves because every CUB and CUK (cashed up kook) is on the before mentioned wave.
