So what does everyone's quiver consist of at the moment? Would love to get an insight as I've cleared all my old boards and ready for some new sticks
Currently, I'm thinking of 4 boards: a stumpy HP all rounder as my daily, a step up for when it gets bigger, mini mal for the days to just have some fun and a longboard for when I feel like cruising.
From small to big :
6'2 x 21 x 3 Al Merrick Biscuit
6'4 x 21 x 3 self shaped
6'6 x 20 x 2 1/2 Spider
6'6 x 20 x 2 3/4 Islantis single fin
6'6 x 21 x 3 Lost Mini driver
7'0 x 20 x 3 Full circle
7'0 x 21 x 3 Al merrick Black Beauty
7'6 x 19 x 2 1/2 Rusty Indo Gun
9'3 x 21 x 2 3/8 Peter Ashley Longboard
a couple of SUP's and some soft boards for the kids...plus there is 5'11 x 22 x 3 Fish and 7'0 single fin in the racks that need to be fiberglassed....I didn't realise I had that many to be honest...oh well at least its better than doing drugs

I reckon, makes me feel heaps better about my 6 board quiver. Better show this list to the misses and tell her I need to order two newies.
Small but growing since I decided to never part with a board again:
6'0" Burton Quad Sexy Fish - my current go to board
6'5" Burton Quad Fat Bullet - my step up
6'3" Burton Quad Batfish - my old allrounder
6'1" Hot Tamale Quad Fish -my first quad fin (pop out bought on special)
6'5" McCoy Nugget - my first hybrid
6'0" McCoy Nugget - my step down version
6'7" Antman Thruster - my old go to board
8'0" Mini Mal
10'5" Starboard Drive SUP
and a 6'8" board I made myself which is terrible (botched glass job) and about to be recycled into a Mini Simmons when I get time

6'7 chapstar batt tail quad
6'8 webber afterburner
6'10 rusty traveller
6'11 delta step up
7'0 delta designs pin tail gun
7'2 delta designs pin tail gun
9'0 longboard
Only hole in my quiver is a real groveller....looking to get rusty happy shovel probably 6'0 to fill that void...but normally ride longboard when it's really small.
Geeez! I'd need a bigger house if I had as many as some of you guys.
5'8 M10 fish
6'1 Simon Anderson shorty
6'6 Matt Manners step-up
^ All rounded pins
hmm. Got about 30odd. 5'9 to 9'4 plus a couple of sups. Obviously don't' need that many but am a bit of a hoarder and over 25 years have acquired more than I've disposed of. Got a big shed. As JOYRIDER said, a fair few do have more dust than salt on them.
But the question was about a quiver.
Most used boards:
6'0 Henri twin fin
6'6 Webber quad
6'8 Sunova thruster (favourite and only custom shaped board, from when Bert was in Mandurah)
6'10 Cordingly single fin
7'4 Bic (for trialling shallow rocky spots)
7'4 x 22 x 3 McCoy mini mal
7'8 Takayama 'Retro Egg' Tufflite mini mal
8'8 McCoy single fin pintail
9'2 Meyerhoffer (got it cheap, looks ridiculous, but actually goes all right)
9'4 Ocean Blue single fin mal
Only 4 of those were bought new. Buy second hand and get more variety.
Glasssssy your proposed 4 boards look like a nice spread to cater for all conditions and moods.
^^ How much do you weigh Tux?
Was up at 110kegs but have trimmed down to 90kgs...if you ower the rails volume the thickness isn't so noticable and the width has never really been a problem for me.....I sued to ride 19 - 19 1/2 but they just didn't have enough volume for me....

A few do but I rarely surf the same board 2 days in a row so I get through most of them. It gives me an excuse for not being a very good surfer! haha.......I have a very understanding wife!
Showed this thread to my wife last night to show her that having more than 3 boards is normal.
Didn't go so well
6-3 js revolution- new
6-4 mayhem mini driver in fst!! surfed gland and nusa dua on this board goes great!!
ive got twice as many boards as i used to now. theyre snapped
just a few 5' 10 thru to 8' 4 simon anderson, patterson and ken bradshaw

Only had the sweet potato for a couple of weeks but its heaps of fun, finding myself hunting out for smaller days. No crowds, lots of rides, great vibe

With the SP you'll catch waves smaller then ever and be just stoked with that sometimes. Often I've ridden it and thought its not possible only to be stunned

More is for getting tubed and laughing like a grom.
Baked potato for high tide smaller stuff.
McCoy for clean wave, top to bottom pocket surfing.
Takayama for just about anything in my area ( bought for crowd surfing initially).
G&S for surfing 3' plus in a retro kinda shortboard way.
Diverse for 4' plus point waves, going fast and carves.
Michael Cundith for paddlepower amongst greedy longboarders at local points.
DVS for small clean waves up to large ones for a longboard's glide but with a light, lively feel.
