forecast for tomorrow the 30th and the day after looks surreal. i know the winds there but its dying out beyond chop by the arvo south west region. i'm sure all eyes have been peeled to it since appeared of the west coast over the last 4 days.lets hope it gets big enough for some of the infamous novelty waves around WA.yes.....cables? never seen it, but heard it needs a big swell. bunkers around to dunsborough has some great waves when its big and it all comes together(wind, swell direction and huey). busselton jetty? heard about it, not convinced.
get amongst it!

Do you think its still going to happen? I hope so but I think the forecast was dependent on there being a storm today and that doesn't look likely now. Let's pray to Huey.

Cheers.

the prayers have been answered..... not as big as hoped but secrets fired this morning round head height with occasional head and a half. the wind dropped out midmorning for some clean ones but then flogged back in. lets hope the wind backs off this arvo.looking good for the morning too, who's having a sickie tomorrow as well?

When I was working in Karratha, a mate of mine and I were at brekky on our day off after doing 13 days straight. We got one day off then did another 13 days, then we could fly home for a week. ANYWHO... at about 9am we decided to drive to Exmouth for a surf. Its a 6 hour drive! We got there about 3pm, paddled out to the bombie and surfed until dark, then got in the car and drove back to Karratha to start our 5am shift the next morning. I was shattered but was glad we did it. We scored head high, down the line, empty waves

yeah , i know heaps of hardened surfers that'll make the dash to exmouth from the big K and i'd probably do the same after you guys got some sick days this year off damier and broome, at some unknown spots with those stouka incoming and passing cyclones. it was plastered all over the telly!

i was hoping the wind would have fizzled out and the swell staying up but even the boys reckon the swells not swinging around the cape....this has got to be doing something for your poor banks you had up there lately, including secret harbs...
lets see what happens on the first offshore unna?

Well if the swell charts right on here, were getting 9m plus swell here thurs and fri with strong winds, but they are offshore and some protected points are going to be cranking if you live in south west vic book in your sickies for thurs and fri, it will be alltime

your right brooko. thats some tight isobars. looks like some top conditions in wa for weds arvo, light winds and peaking on dusk, with the swell hitting vicco on thursday. how quick is that! i don't think i've ever seen the graph go off the richter like that.how about grabbing a few shots before you head out? dont want to know names but some snaps would be sick.that sorta swell would have to bring out the novelty breaks.
im really spewing i have to take some more time off......
