i'd love to see an indoor event. all of the vids look awesome.

hey did anyone else get excited by the brief and design an outcome for Twn's assignment.

or was it just me with over 2 hours to kill on the train each day.

p.s. the centre will struggle to teach newbies as all of the winds are offshore in the lake.

Most of the storage areas you have shown me are of the boards on racks, lying horizontally one above the other. Is this your preffered method of storage? Would another method be easier, perhaps if they were stored vertically in a row?


The old club further down the beach had vertical racks, which seemed to allow for more boards to be stored in less space, however the horizontal racks allow you to pile all your junk on top of them, and below if you have the bottom rack.

My board rack contains: 1 board, 5 masts, 2 sails, one camp stove and misc food from my aborted attempt at camping on the beach at Christmas, 1 tent from same, several plastic bags of clean clothes, 1 pair of thongs, 1 box of tools and spares, a sailbag stuffed with spare harness lines, pads, footstraps etc, a few extensions and fins, and God knows what else.

In that case I shall do what I can to ensure my design allows fpor boards to be stored horizontally Wet Willy.
