Good timing Will,
I suggested to club members 2 months ago that Marmong run an annual national championship for D11s probably with 2 divisions open with unlimited sail size and maby a 6.5 or 7.5 sail limit . Are there enough people interested . I have 2 of these gracefull old boards + one or two other club members have them . Also if there is enough intrest we could run a PLASTIC ONLY funboard with mylar sail title in conjunction marmong has a number of these boards . Marmong has the facilities to run such an event with a clubhouse rescue boat and a bay that is more sheltered than some places I was thinking late summer or early autum when the weather would be hopefully more settled . Well over to you is there enough intrest.
Barry
The one with the stripes isn't an Eliminator, is it? It looks a lot like one I had when I was a kid in the mid 80s.
Anyway, my first job is to get a board.
Cheers

Is it just me or do they look a bit unstable with the rounded hull?
I imagine there is a ton of skill required in sailing one?
I've got a 'plastique fantastique' - so count me in (TC Spacer)
Sails could be an issue.
Must see how it goes as a SUP
I'm in - Lechner A390 with 7.3m class sail - Lars' board from the Barcelona Games.
I'll also lend my older TC Win (similar to a Mistral M1 but slower in light winds) and a custom board from about '88 out, but they're probably already taken.
If we had more interested sailors than boards, maybe we could do a "round robin" event to get everyone out on the water?
Hi Guys,
Can someone tells me what are these 2 Div II boards above? Never seen the one with the paints...sounds like very instable downwind...
The other looks like a kind of Dobbelman DB2 or...
Good to see that you still sail them
Cheers
Eric
