but seeing you asked.
As a surfer, a kite or looking through a little foggy plastic sail window, is in no way "adding to surfing".
Surfing is surfing,
the other two are just for those too lazy to paddle for waves and both arent really "surfing".
but are fun
Most surfers think that both kiters and polers are pretty lame in the waves.
But dont let them know how enjoyable it is

you should compare the pro surfers against the pro kiters on that wave.......
^^^ agree. but if those guys in the video are at pro level and riding waves like that, its little surprise surfers think the sport is a joke at times. the waves are almost too good for them. no big sections. maybe they shouldve backed off on the power of the kite and "surfed" the waves more? get more vertical, and get tubed? im no kiter though.

Looks like a great wave to surf,,,,,no good for kiters or windsurfers though.
Aparently its too offshore, which is why they are fighting to stay on the wave and why they dont windsurf there much.
Awsome looking wave, but why have a comp that offers crap conditions for competitors????
No prize money either..WTF? No wonder none of the pros turned up.
