Nice new rigging vid! Like the bit regarding the built in draft and outhaul settings. New wave sails look nice!

Looks very similar to the '07 range which differed a fair bit from the '06in terms of the amount of draft forward. Looks like maybe a touch less draft forward than '07 but it's hard to tell from the vid. I reckon it's very similar to last years; of which I have 2 and love to death :)

I heard from a friend who distributes the sails, and has visited David Ezzy in his Maui sail loft, that the 07 design would remain unchanged in 08. But who knows? People change their mind...

It's very unlikely that DEzzy would be able to leave a design alone 100%. He's a fanatical perfectionist so he's surely tweaked something!

The tack pulley / D-ring option is a new addition. And the range of sizes has changed slightly.

But your friend could be right, the dynamics of the sail are probably much the same.

I read some where that people may have had some trouble rigging the '07s due to them being fairly big on the outhaul and not so much on the downhaul. In the '08s I think they have gone a little less outhaul intensive, but I agree with CJW that the changes look like they are very subtle.

I like the idea of the padding extension down the bottom ... I always seem to take a nice chunk of skin out of my ankle!

I think we need to hear from someone that has ridden the '08s so speak up people :)

I have been an Ezzy man for many years. And i thought i would give some feed back on the new 2008se wave sails. My last sails were 2006-4.0,2007-4.7,2007-5.8.My favourite being my 4.7 so i updated to a new 2008 4.7,i have sailed with it twice now in 30knots.I am so happy with the 08 that i immediatly went and traded in my 07s for 2 more 08s,They are just fantastic, balanced, more power, more control, much to my suprise, generally a lot better sail than the 07.What ever you do if money is an issue.Dont try them because you will want them!

Hi Leech!

Could you post the Goya wave sail review from Windsurf mag?

I'm interested in buy a complete sail quiver and I can't decide betwen Ezzy or Goya.

Any other guy can help me to decide?
