Looking at coming over for the Nationals.
My question is how deep will the slalom course be?
2 boards and 2 sails will mean taking the 9.2 and 48 cm fins. Will this be a problem?
Plenty of deep water off the north eastern edge of the reef flat for sailing on low tides and if the wind goes light and bigger fin/gear is needed.

If the winds up small gear/fins will be the go across the reef flat.

Red stars show never go on any tide, big rocks !!
This photo shows eastern speed run at 1.3 meter tide, water depth where the two guys in the foreground is the same as out and beyond the guys sailing
First few days of the event will see some super low tides in the afternoon with conditions similar to this, booties can be a good option (Locals don't use them though) to walk out 100m over reef flat to deep water (leave them in the floating basket we'll put there for you), and sail over nice clear sandy bottom just stay away from any coral bombies, easy to spot !!
