bloody idiots. i used to sail a hobie 16 in the surf, but wouldn't go within cooee of surfers.

Fine as long as they keep the thing upright. I was waiting for the carnage after they bottled it. Bet their rig is a hellava lot more expensive to replace.
But, yeah, not bad, particularly for what looked like well under about 10kts of wind!
