Been doing these for about 5 years now -thought i should get some video and get it out there.

I also decided to shoot it in the most confusing way possible - just to make it harder for everyone to work out.

as far as i know this move doesn't have a name and no one was doing them 5 years ago - so i'm naming it !

its my only freestylesque move -

I have been trying spocks for 10 years and never landed one - i am a freestyle dud.

The Stubby requires a spilling wave , a bit of fin bustage and some fancy footwork.

Seen Ben Arthur and Simon Hurrey busting them out at Scarbs - please be put on notice that as i own the copyright to this move i will be charging a $10 royalty for each one that i see you do.

Nice move, nice sailing !!
I'm currrently suffering near-terminal dehydration, so I'm quite jealous.

You are the only person I see doing them apart from Ben so I agree that you have naming rights.
How did you come up with the name the stubby?

Very nicely done.
Ain't nothing like freestyle, any flavour, any style.

Invent a new one so you can post some more !

Nah Matt has an extra rig flip so his is the Stubby 540 whereas JP only did a Stubby360 (but didn't know it was a Stubby)

I think I know the one, is it where he grabs the mast, spins around and then runs up the beach? at 2:34 seconds?? thats upwind spin but. I can't recall anything similar to the stubby, and I watched it a few times!

It's all up on youtube so I'm sure Reflex will sift through it frame by frame to proove originality.
