Lotofwind .... your name is apt. But why not relieve yourself through the normal bodily function, though not in public, please! (If the thread annoys you, why read it??)

As an afterthought on what is going on; conversation just days ago (on a good B&J day) with a friend who now works for a big distributor. Windsurfing is a lost cause to them, and they are concentrating on 'pushing' S.U.P. on to dealers, at the expense of windsurfing boards, because that's where they see the future. As he said, with boards now costing one and a half grand, a) dealers won't carry stock. b) Only the hard core will pay these silly prices.

From the horses mouth!

Mrlargegob, your name is also apt,,,just making light hearted fun of the topic that never ends and will not ever come to closurer.

I mean,,,,,,the dinosaurs have become extinct,,,,,,,but we still talk about them and see them in museums.
Like windsurfing is becomming extinct,,,but this thread keeps going.

This should start some personal attacks to shut the house down.LOL

I agree, for once he makes a fine point.

However ..... I believe it's all to do with Hitler, and the Nazi party.

There Godwins law has been applied.

OMG ,,,,,I agree with the evil side,,,,,,,,,,,I feel cheap and dirty.LOL

and I dont think its the nazi's,
but aliens or maybe our brains are being fried by the chemtrails or the fact that the twin towers were blowen up by the president so the USA could steal oil.

either way,,none of the above could possibly help increasing the windsurfer numbers.True?
Glad I could help.

and if those ruddy catholics incl. the pope wouldn't have supported him( hitler that is) we would never have had this dilemma we're finding ourselfes in now

Actually, if it was not for Hitler and the Nazis, windsurfing would not be as popular as it is.

That's right thanks to the second world war, science and technology advanced in leaps and bounds at an enormously accelerated rate, putting the world decades ahead of where it would have been without the war.

it's unlikely that the post war economic boom and baby boomers would have fueled a leisure 'centric economy, and consequently no one would have invented windsurfing..... Consequently Goebbels should be considered the grandfather of our sport!

That has to lock it up surely? No?

Well think about it, the Germans have always been very good at the sport... Can't remember ever seeing a top rider called Wolowitz?

That should do it.

10 years is a bit of a stretch

I think thats half the problem.
When you where a teenager,, if an old dude said,"try this,,its really cool" you would do the opposite because anything that grandpa's though was cool, isnt.

Kinda like when your mum says she loves that band you are listening too. That cd goes in the bin.LOL

And just think,,,,it was windsurfers that invented kitesurfing.

In the 15 yawn pages,,you all keep blaiming kitesurfing as the reason that there is no one wanting to windsurf anymore.

I think its just evolution that you guys stated 30 years ago.
Thank you.
