apparently our windsurfing sport is "outdated" according to certain kite surfers.
hey why do they take the jetski out with the equipment and set up in the water?
they launch off the jetski because there is no real beach there to launch from . its all rock shelves and cliffs. The wind clsoe in around the cliffs is all over the place.
The other Option is to launch at ho'ikpa and sail up wind to it but its a fair way and the boards they use are not really designed for going up wind.
Yikes.
