Aston is 4 now, He can now uphaul and control the sail in around 10-15 knots. He even managed to carry the sail down to the beach (about 100m).

I think it is now time for some flat water with a big board. The quote of the day was "my favourite part of the day is windsurfing".

That's awesome mate.
There is a picture of me trying to uphaul a Wally at 5 years. My first kit was a SeaSkip - It's still under the house.
Hopefully my 3 month old son will enjoy it as much as I have.

Great pics.

Dan.

Great photos! Cute kid!
My grandson is almost 3 and he loves watching windsurfing with me on YouTube! But his mother threatened me when I said I was going to put him on a board with me next summer.

I have this plan to pick up all the grandkids during school holidays and take them off to learn to surf ,sail, camp, burp, fart and swear, then drop em home after a few weeks, smelly ,headlicey and cheeky.
i reckon thats the basic reason for being a grandad

Great shots bluedog - I will be introducing my kids to sailing this summer in the same way -

landy - my kids came back from my dads last for the day and told me they had so much fun - when i asked what was the highlight they told me it was poppy stirring up their ice cream in a bowl until it melted - the same thing i used to do only i was told "just eat your food, dont play with it"
