As an awesome extra prize Severne sails are giving away a signed sail (with Mr Dunkerbeck's signature on there) to the first Junior over the finish line.

Good luck to all the up an coming racers fanging down the course tomorrow.

Some of the synoptic charts are looking ok for a breeze! Se lines over Lancelin is always a good thing.

Top stuff I reckon. I'd be stoked to win a new sail, who wouldn't, but would rather see it go to a grom. A prize for 1st junior over the line is better than 5 sails for the older competitors

Encouraging the groms is the way to go. Awesome

The prize is a 012 OverDrive 5.4, with Bjorn Dunkerbeck's signature.

Come and see us at the tent while we're all waiting around for wind... (wind has come in the last 2 days up there, so we should get something).

I would have loved to come and race but Mum won't let me What an amazing prize!

Still, I've already had my bit of encouragment from Severne this year.

Check out my 4.2 metre Slalom/Race sail!

I used it last weekend at Botany Bay for the last Slalom race of the summer (I came 16th out of 22) and now I'm back at Lake Burley Griffin doing more Slalom training:

Good luck everyone - have fun!

What the? Kids and free sails? This is like the time I caught the ferry over to Manly. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Manly in those days. So I tied an prawn to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a penny, and in those days, pennys had pictures of blowflies on 'em. Give me twelve flies for a pound, you'd say.

...

Now where were we? Oh yeah: the important thing was I had an prawn on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white prawns because of the war. The only thing you could get were those big yellow ones...

So this is how you get poor Little Panda to sleep every night...

Thanks for the tip Abe!

I hope this guys doesn't actually have a disability or anything (this would then be horrible) but I thought I had to point this out.

I think you will find it was just the moment when the guy took the photo. That is Jet that came third in the juniors...
