This Saturday the local TV news is coming out to Eppalock to hopefully film some sailboarders and Kiters as part of a news story they are putting together about taking care on the water and boating safety and right of way etc.

11.30am Saturday morning at the Kimbolton pool swimming area.

the more sails there the better.

65.65% according to www.g-mwater.com.au/water-resources/catchments/storage-levels , but what's 2% between drinks. Especially compared to 6% from last year.

Unfortunately my sail will be off Dromana on Sat. Hope you have your log fin fitted!

Would you mind posting a few photo's of the days events and some realistic shots showing how the level looks now please. The last photo before those posted a few weeks back showed a very green hilly area with nil aqua. A far cry from what I recall yonks ago.
I will be in area some time December/January on a road trip (with some kit just in case) So nothing like whetting the appetite

Best wind angles at Kimbolton are SW through S to SE.
And NW through to Nth.

Can be chop when wind is up during the SE winds, but more in middle area of water.
Some nice ramps to be had there.

Westerlies are direct off shore and full of bullets but when water is very high this is less of a problem but not fun for beginners.
