Lord Howe Vid

You know, I was just looking through some old photos on the weekend. The reoccurring coin brought a smile to my face. I can't complain after you guys found the fin that was knocked off the bottom of the board on the outer reef.



I am in Colorado now, this is my local sailing spot. The good thing is that I can get out every day after work when windy, otherwise I SUP. Had some good 15-20 knot days although it is gusty. The downside is that is freezes in winter.

You made me laugh thinking about that. I had forgotten about the coin that just kept turning up again and again Pete would have been rich by now if he kept finding coins at that rate!

You seem to have moved around a bit. You didn't move there for the sailing then?

I am going to try to spend a few days in Hood River if I can in a few weeks on the way home. Have you sailed the river up that way?

I have not been up there but it is certainly on the list of places to go. What actual date are you up there. I might be a good excuse to get a leave pass! I need to start moving to ideal windsurfing locations.

I will be in the US on the 26th of this month, but I think I will fly to Portland on the 27th. I can only be there for 3 days before I need to fly back to Aus.

I want to see if its a good place to sail, even if its just for a few days.
