Hi All
I own one of these:

However, when rigg up, the pulleys angle the rope in a way that cuts it. I've tried different brands of rope. My current one is said to be the most strongest and I have to replace my rope every few sessions. I don't want to change the way I rig my sails (maxed downhaul, extension length kept to minimum).
I need a extension that has a protruded head, so that the extension pulleys line up with the sail pulleys when down hauled. Something like this:
Can anybody recommend a product that will solve the above problem ?
Cheers

show us a pic of how you thread the rope into your sail pulleys and are the pulleys north south or east west sewn onto the sail.
Hi guys
Certainly. I will take a piccy. Watch this space.
To address the original question, all mast extensions have a simialr design to mine ? (ie: short protruded pulleys)
Note: Before my post, I had a search on google, but couldn't find much info (unless I am wording the searches incorrectly)

my base is 90 degrees to my sail pulles and i dont got a problem .. only when i fully downhaul so that the sail pulles touch the plastic does the last end of the rope rub .. i got it from the maui sailes rigging up book .. shoes how to thread it step by step ..
This may be of help for threading ropes correctly:
I have what appears to be the same Aeron extension and will check to see how I thread the ropes.
