Izaak, Locky and myself headed out to an outer reef for a session before the Slalom Nationals on Green Island. It is a fair mission to get out there and actually windsurf, requiring a number of factors to be worth the effort. On this day we were rewarded with a solid 22 knots and 7 nautical miles of continuous flat water.

Two days before he buggered off home, Benny said he had his best FNQ day in 10 years playing on a reef break, but as Al said it's a lucky dip, you wouldn't come here for the wave.
