Izaak, Locky and myself headed out to an outer reef for a session before the Slalom Nationals on Green Island. It is a fair mission to get out there and actually windsurf, requiring a number of factors to be worth the effort. On this day we were rewarded with a solid 22 knots and 7 nautical miles of continuous flat water.

Thanks for sharing the shots Al and great write up mate
I was very grateful the day Camikaze took me out there, awesome experience Oh and the trip back to civilisation was an experience too, never been so wet
speaking of out there... are there any decent reefs with dl waves?
Two days before he buggered off home, Benny said he had his best FNQ day in 10 years playing on a reef break, but as Al said it's a lucky dip, you wouldn't come here for the wave.
