Awesome AWESOME, still grinning. Fantastic trip guy's, wish we were all still there. Big thumbs up to all who organised and the casualness that all took on board. And we finally have proof that kiters & poleys can cohabit

Kite in shreds......fell in the white water kite went down 3 other waves washed over it as i couldn't get to the release. Meanwhile i was being dragged by the kite under and along as each wave hit it, bit unnerving to say the least. Luckily it was the end of the last session of the last day. Steve, (Thanks steve) came over and put me on his board Mick (thanks mick) then took my board back to the boat and wazza and mal picked me up in the tender thank **** for support.

Launching and landing was challenging but we did it.
Lines sorted out along the side of the boat then wound up, kite pumped on the marlin board, lines attached then a drift launch, with a bit of luck the lines were right and the kite went up no probs.
Some problems encountered were kite lines not set right, kite getting caught up in spear fishers buoy, and the birth of kite diving, kitelines tangling in windsurfer kit and premature release of kites.
Coming in was simple fly to the back of the boat let kite fly to edge of window, grab one line to flag kite (ie 5th) then roll up lines whilst kite gets dragged in. Super easy. However once that kit has been used unless you have another bar n lines forget using it again.

In the end we just kept two kites alive for the day.
We learned a lot and next time we will be 100% more efficient.

Good to see everyone is still "stoked" about the trip and also ringside viewing with a coldie in our hands from the ship. Some top sailing by everyone in supremo conditions.
