Nice shot!!! I sure know that feeling!!! I was on a 7.8 and 112l board, in that same spot!

You just never know when you might end up in a race where you may have to pick off the smallest wave of the set to get you in safely This was at Lano' Mainbreak Friday before Sat's Marathon, had just been punching my way in and out of Hole in the Wall a few times to scope a few paths in and out for the race finish, it was not breaking as big there. Koster and some of the local wavesailing crew were hitting Mainbreak so I headed down for a closer look

By Sat' the swell had dropped for the race and no drama getting in.

A day earlier it almost could have been! That day was pretty full on, there was plenty bigger than that one Spotty is on.
Some pretty inspiring sailing that day - Scotty gouges, Kosters airs, heaps of sections that scared me too much to turn into late.... then they smash it
