I made this video late at night. I tried narration, didn't go so well but I couldn't be bothered redoing it as the computer keeps crashing when I'm making videos. I am talking softly as I didn't want to wake the kids. Im not drunk or anything like that
We have a battle coming with the save Little Manly campaign. I heard one of the commercial TV stations was filming today about the issue.
This is the You Tube description I gave for this video
Gusty North Wester on Sydney Harbour. Dave Howe solo sailing his Formula Windsurfing board. Narration by Justin Lord.
We access the 'most beautiful harbour in the world' from Little Manly Beach. Manly Council has decided to sell off the foreshore reserve where we rig, against their own planning guidelines and without community consultation. There is a court case and increasing media attention around this issue. The greater community needs beaches and access to the harbour.
Anyway, hope you enjoy.
Nice!!! Sydney is a beautiful town. I am really homesick now, hope to be back in town on 28th. Good luck with your campaign to save little Manly.
Hi Justin,
Great work. With your narration it brought a lot of heart to the video.
see you on the water soon.
Kind Regards
Walt
Nice vid. My parents live at Little Manly. What a stupid idea to sell off that land. I'm looking forward to getting out on my JP SLW from there this summer. It always seems like a lot of effort on the short board i.e. its either going to be a struggle getting out in a S/SE or getting back in a NE. Nothing better than breakfast from Stuart at Little Manly Cafe
Nice video Justin..... that was me in the coach boat following the RS-X. Had plenty on in Middle Harbour that day
That was a really good vid. Gave me great insight into formula sailing on the harbour, and your calm, knowledgable commentary gave it great soul.
Nice work.
