I got a fin Also had a few good days away with the family, but sad to hear on my return to internet world of the tragic circumstances at Geralton. It's just not cricket, or Australian. (no pun intended at all)

notwal matey! i know what you're trying to say but when we get going on the water there seems to be an increasing tone of "don't tell me what to do!" too bad several times that happened so i just leave her alone and do what she thinks is right and at the end of the day the opposite happens which is the fun part "please massage my arms and back! they're hurting!" and that i wouldn't mind arguing[}:)]santa definitely was around

I got a nice surprise. A NAVI GT-11 with blue tooth(my husband said it was for me to use, but he has had heaps of fun with it already using it in the car with his mobile phone as a navigation system), even better I got to use it on boxing day and will got out again today, wind is just coming up now

The problem is Santa normally sends me underpants so now I have a draw full of them. I think Santa is getting a bit forgetful in his old age.

Yes I know undies need washing. I normally wash them once a week.

The end of your life as you know it. These things are the most addictive item ever purchased. session ends, rush in, down load to see wodidIdo ? wodidIdo?
That’s after you actually stopped and started checking the trip meter
Have fun with it, dont ever get it wet(they dont like moisture) put it in a sandwich pack when you put it in your aquapac, just too be sure.

Do they work with Mac? I am now a Mac man after my PC carked it in an electrical storm and I picked up an old Mac laptop for $20 from work.

I was sailing today at Narrabeen, doing some nice runs. A fellow was sailing with something that looked like to be a GPS strapped to his arm. I think I was going as well as him on average so perhaps if I pray very hard Santa will send me one instead of more undies.

You've got it all wrong. That's why Santa keeps bringing you undies.
Praying is not a direct line to Santa.
You need to talk to your mum or wife as they seem to keep in close contact with Santa and you will have a much better chance of coming up with the goods.
Praying is reserved for requests for good winds, sunny days, etc., areas where asking mum/wives seems to have a very poor success rate.
If you keep praying to Santa you are just going to get more undies and no wind.

I run Mal's Realspeed on my Mac in Windows using Parallels and it works a treat. I guess if you got a mac for $20, it's not going to be a new intel mac. You could try the older Virtual PC, now owned by Microsoft.

Thanks for the hint Mineral1 about putting the GPS in a sandwich bag first. I just put it in the aquapac and thought that would be ok. I thought it was supposed to be waterproof/splash proof anyway without the aquapac?
Wind didnt happen yesterday, to much rain, already 20 gusting to 28knotsso hope to get out today, problem is now I need some speed gear, will have to use my small wave gear today

ka72, they are supposed to be water resistance, but a few, me included found that if our aquapac leaked for what ever reason, a failure (screen dies) was immanent. Keep the aquapac flat (don’t shut it with lots of air inside) as they don’t like a crash type water impact in the seams
