Just making some observations with gear I recon seems to be the most popular I see down here:

Boards:

1. JP
2. Starboard
3. Fanatic
4. Tabou
5. Mistral

Sails:

1. NP
2. KA
3. Ezzy
4. Goya
5. Severne

Well, that's my observations...... Find it very interesting. Perhaps just a representation of the brands that our shops sell.....

Laurie, can we do polls soon?

Rank brands by advertising budget and you'd probably get the same result.

...half of all advertising costs are wasted, just don't know which half...

I think whatever the local retailers sell will always rank highly.

So we need to look at the place with the most amount of shops and then the best gear must be what most people choose to use there?

So it is europe, and we must all use North and Fanatic.

Didn't stop me wanting to try and pass you back, sadly there was a Elmo'd gybe not to far into the future after the overtake

I my defense I did give you one hell of a head start with my fantastic beach starting skullz Cocked up all the starts that day

It's alright I've beaten Bender a few times this season

For Warrnambool Vic.

Up until last weekend...
1. Sailboard Australia/Sailboard Australia
2.Bombora/Wild Winds

Since last Weekend...
1. JP/ Neilpryde
2. Sailboard Australia/Sailboard Australia

It's easy to be sure when I've never seen anyone else windsurfing in here.

Big thanks to Luke from SHQ for his sound advice and willingness to answer questions and get me sorted with my new gear. I can't believe how different windsurfing is on gear that isn't 30yrs old. I'm still learning how to tune the sail properly but I'm having a ball with it.
