When you find them, how about sending them out to all the board and fin manufacturers!

Does it matter whether you put a deep tuttle fin a std tuttle or visa versa?

the best thing to do is get a deep tuttle fin and see if it will fit into a standard box, if you stick a measuring tape inside the box you will notice it has a 2cm clearence and the fin is wedged in by the taper of the fin, if a deep tuttle does fit ,maybe you could risk damageing the top of the fin case either by over tightning or hitting a rock ect
i agree with decrepit i haven't yet found a fin thats a perfect fit

I have also found out the the deep tuttle's tend to be used in the bigger boards - 120 ltr plus
Would the wedge shape on the deep tuttle fin be loose in a std tuttle box?

Hi Doug. I read somewhere (a while back) that deep tuttle fins wont go in a standard tuttle box but it's compatible the other way round - standard tuttle in deep tuttle box's. Certainly seems to be the case with Sue's Go170 (deep) and my Futura (standard)
