I can't help thinking you would be hated by everybody including the jet ski riders. Certainly the first video shows them being arseholes blasting through all the other water users. The marketing looks like it was put together by the Russian mafia.

Gee they sure have no idea about foot strap placement WTF.
The concept applied to a decent shaped surfboard could make tow in surfing redundant or at least alot cheaper than buying a jetski

Looking at the profile of the underside, I don't think it's going to cut the mustard on a wave face. I think it will slide out.
It has a fairly deep centre section which houses the water turbine and I don't see how you can change that.
I would still like to try it out though.
Strange that they don't show a few vids of it in the surf.

Just like a stand up paddler on this forum called attaching a sail to a SUP, stand up sailing, SUS.....

Just my point..... SUP are reinventing the world of extreme sport..... What is next? SUEP? stand up extreme planking.....!!!!
