I have been thinking ages about something like that implemented in my windsurfing board.
Don't have to be strong motor, just a bit help in light wind condition to make the difference
To plain or not to plain - there could be the answer

Where can you get them? I've seen Jetboards before but these look smaller and more fun. I want one.

Here's a better one.

It does look like fun. I would like to see it in chop and surf.

I can't help thinking you would be hated by everybody including the jet ski riders. Certainly the first video shows them being arseholes blasting through all the other water users. The marketing looks like it was put together by the Russian mafia.

Gee they sure have no idea about foot strap placement WTF.
The concept applied to a decent shaped surfboard could make tow in surfing redundant or at least alot cheaper than buying a jetski

Get a decent board shaper and we'll see how they go.

As far as surf and chop goes, l don't think it'll do so well. With the board so low in the water (compared to a jetski) I could see issues of water in the intake.

So much better value than jetskiing which is fun for about 5 minutes.

Looking at the profile of the underside, I don't think it's going to cut the mustard on a wave face. I think it will slide out.
It has a fairly deep centre section which houses the water turbine and I don't see how you can change that.
I would still like to try it out though.
Strange that they don't show a few vids of it in the surf.
