I know some windsurfers think our weather is simialr to Antartica however check out

and see what you are missing out on, regularly. An the best bit is u can get to anywhere in the state within 5 hrs or less. A crowded day here is 4 to 5 windsurfers.
Oh and its currently blowing 25 - 35 knts in both these locations and has been for the last week.
Cheers

Jimmy

I think we are painfully aware what we are missin' out on after the vids posted a few weeks back from a comp you had down there.

Awesome vid and awesome conditions, keep them comming. It helps us poor NSW sods to get through the current doldrums until the winder southerlies kicks in (they should be here by now).

A trip to tassie is even higher up on my "must do" list now

you guys are such pussies.

It's not that cold down there. the water temp is the same a margaret river and in summer it's about the same air temp. a good 3mm will see you through summers cold days.

Jimmy where you at in tassie

REALLY

www.marine.csiro.au/~lband/web_point/

Last time I was in Tassie the water was SOOO frickin' cold I couldn't get in... And that was January How soft I have become... A few years earlier, I was camping on the west coast, somewhere over near Marrawah and I was swiming in the ocean at 6 am in the rain to get "clean", and this was August

Coming back to Tassie again in September and then October... Does Marrawah still work then

I used to surf with a Tasmaniam refugee.

He emigrated over to WA in the middle of winter and surfed in a springy and bagged us out the rest of winter.

Hi Curac,

Cheers

Finally got time to watch the vid,

Awesome work boys

You don't want to put it out there to much you'll end up with swarms of Punters with waves like that

mostly cross shore. on west coast.

Pugwash no you can't borrow my car. but maybe you can buy it..

a few more sailors at marrawah wouldn't hurt. and there are lots of spots so you could take off to some place else. if it got crowded.

besides it would probably be a bit like margs. lots of awesome spots but everyone just sails the easiest to access spot. so you can get away from the crowd easy.
