I'll bring my mast measuring kit along again for anyone who's interested in knowing their mast stats.
Sweet, I'm there.
Where do you get those little mini windsurfers from (not Justin)?
EDIT: I found them, wow!

cheers notwal.
i'll measure yours if you measure mine.
howdt panda, i bought those minatures off ebay to use as trophy's for the club. they were great. if i ever find anymore on ebay for a decent price i'll get more.
KL in the pic won the trophy for the best dry forward loops on the day. top effort.
i also kept a trophy for myself. it's a starboard formula board with gaastra nitro 3 sail. it sits right beside my computer so i can touch it for good luck.
see you guys tomorrow.
I think I will be down for this one.
Will bring the good camera with the 300mm lens to get some pics.
Damm, I didn't see this and have other plans (fixing car), bugger was looking forward to the next meet and actually dusting off my gear - hpefully I'll be able to make the next one.
Hope its a good day
was another great day daneli,
the wind was a bit patchy early on but settled in for the arvo session resulting in a couple of hours of powered up sailing on the smaller gear.
although we didn't run a "formal" Vulcan clinic, a lot of the guys talked throughout the day to Haircut to get the run down on sliding, spinning and vulcanning. it was fantastic to hear the in's and out's from the man himself.
i have managed a quick review on the club website including a link to some photos from the day.
cheers to the sponsors and to haircut for lending your time helping make the day great fun.http://www.windwanderers.com/news.html
hi mate,
more photos are coming. waiting on them to be emailed through etc. there may even be some vid footage from the day.
i'll get the review written over the following week and upload it. for now i just wrote a brief account.
if you go to the windwanderers website you will find a link to the sponsors website where you can see photos etc.
if you are still having trouble then let me know.
hey who rides on the gold coloured sail!?
Seen it at wello on sunday
Nice looking. Geeze some of u had some speeeeeeed!
Unlike these guys, I spent most of my time in the water!!
After one catapult, landing on my head/ear, (No, not the wedgie fall I was telling you about) I got water in my ear that I couldn't shake out. Now have a pushed in ear drum and inner ear infection.
Damn murky broadwater water.
hey guys,
jeez, i am struggling to know what some of the moves are that i'm looking at in the photos from the day.
nice pics by the way aus301.
one of the sequences has de vecta doing a vulcan, then halfway through the move when he is sliding backwards the sail powers up and pushes the nose back to a broadreach postition again. so now da vecta is sailing along in the straps on the leeward side of the sail.......
he recovers and sails out.
so it's a vulcan, but instead of the gybe he spins back again ending up in the straps on the wrong side where he sails out.
so what's that called
jeez, and i still can't stick all of my tacks.
