best flat water sailing in Brisbane gold goast.

Hi All

Come on I dare people to post their fav sports for flat water sailing! Wello point is a good allround location. but not as good as tompsons beach at victoria point at hightide in a S to SE wind.

mine are -

N - wello
NE - train
E - golden beach
SE - Victoria point or Sutton's beach or the lake
S - Victoria point
SW - Wello or Bongaree
W - wello
NW - Wello or the lake

not so flat water -

NE - mooloolabah
SE - caloundra bar (incoming tide only)
NW - north kirra

se shearwater is the go, long runs, good jumps, 1 m deep bar in middle if you want to stop and turn, good rigging area.

amity banks off north stradbroke island if you have a boat.
works in all wind directions, just great.

ok,

flat water - my bathtub before thewind kicks in.

not so flat water - my bath tub after the wind kicks in. [}:)]
