Ahh, brown arrows? They are there to tell Macroscien to rig down from his 7m to a 6m, just so that he can sail comfortably in 35 knots.

I wish NSW gets to see brown arrows, but I know it will only happen when its not a good time to sail, e.g. hail, tornadoes, and flying tuna.

Maybe for NSW you can have a colour between red and yellow, just to show a normal day?

Always liked Albany and thought about moving there. Wondered about how good the conditions would be for GPS sailing though. Regular brown arrows might tip the scales in favour.

I agree with the colour choice

Actually, the brown and red arrows should be swapped over.
Brown arrows for crappy sailing conditions. Red arrows for danger.
There is nothing dangereous about light winds for anything,.. unless you're stuck a mile off shore when they drop off. I spose that could be a red arrow situation. But it could equally be a brown arrow situation.
I say,.. reverse red and brown.

The new format is SO SO, im finding the arrows to be to fat and somewhat less accurate to look at .But the scale change is good and the brown arrows over 35 knots is a good introduction/ With out overdoing it. BUT,there may be scope for a forth colour for say glass offs / light and variable .

I also find the gaps between arrows on the days real time wind display to be very open making it look less accurate and linked , Nothing better than seeing solid green and a refined accurate graph, illestrating variations in wind strenght / direction from your days action on the water

Funny how when you really look on the original wind graphs, the arrows have variations in width of them. Does this mean any thing

Version 4 Laruie
Try making the arrows twice as tight as the original and linked like a snake /dragon tail.

Im sure ill cope either way

Hey evets, tell work you've got a problem with wind and that you're better off staying home in Albany next Tuesday. Also take note of Benders comment and wear an extra pair of undies!

Whoever uses seabreeze.com.au to check the wind is a twit.

Just take the look at a weather chart and you should get an idea as to what the wind will do.

go straight to the source (bom.gov.au) and save yourselves and laurie the pain of incorrect forecasting.

the main reason for seabreeze.com is so we can all get on here, under unknown alias's and give our useless 2 cents worth of dribble.

i'm done, have a good day

It is amusing what people post when they think we cant work out who they are - isn't that right Mr Rider from Sutherland

Pro tip: if you are going to use a sock puppet account, don't do it from the same static IP address as your main account.

Wow, there's another person on here? I thought it was just me, my many aliases, Laurie, and hopefully Flipper (god I hope Flipper4444 is not one of my aliases!).

It's good to see the Shire is represented twice though!

40kn and 5.5m swell?

That is what all the 18 y/o kiters claim ever second day anyhow.

Thus I think brown arrows is derived from the sh!t some people talk.

As doggie said, it's Saturday/Sunday that's bolded.

The arrows at the top left are the legend, for people who forget which way north is!

Also, those asking for red to be at the top (for danger), click that link titled "Reverse Arrow Colours" (just below the forecast), and your wish is fullfilled.

Nah! Not Smog.
There's a certain Seabreeze member who has been responsible for creating a bit of extra wind around here recently
