Nah, they are right. He did spend most of his life in Tenerife, but he was born in Germany.
They nearly spelled his name right.
Ignant peeps.
Even bigger, that looks to be after his peak height as it appears to be a stalled forward...
Matt you stole my photo, lol.. I just bought that mag for the interesting articles and what do i find on page 6, a "kitesurfer going freakin Huge"
Must have cropped the kiter out in the final edit, be bad form to show a kiter boosting over a Poley
What did you expect? This is Zoo magazine after all. I doubt the hire the brightest tools in the shed.
70knots is inconceivable for us mere mortals.
You can see how hard it is to just jump, with the board buffeting around. Let alone loop or waveride..... but they did!!!
Unfortunatley ruined by dubstep soundtrack so will this end up in Heavy Weather?
Seems like some of the kiters posting here have a limited understanding of the laws of physics, in particular, those that relate to the effect of gravity on a falling object.
Given gravity is pretty much a constant for all objects large and small it's probably aerodynamics, lift and all those things we have no understanding of, but given kite control and the lift you can generate has a big influence on whether you drop like a rock, hit the water at warp speed or have a nice controlled landing those of us that like to jump probably have a little understanding of it.
"german kitesurfer, my arse"
bet you wouldn't hide in the bushes at Woodman's Point and shout that out
