Swell looks like its was huge ............ lOOKS a bit wild and over cooked out there.

South South easter front hit Geraldton about 1pm and it was windy. 25 /40 knts

Sailed , super low tide between St Georges to Sunset ON A SMOKEN SMOOTH LITTLE 30m 2foot lefthanders as it was to windy and offshore and hard work at sunset at 4 foot ,sailed down and had a look , I was to over cooked and it was choppyer shifting around..............

Coros was pumping in the avaro swell was big down there.

Is photo from the key hole ?

ha ha ...nope!!!

sp was a no go, langy ,these taken in the bay round the corner.

there was meant to be a channel somewhere out there...

had a good close up, chicken gybed and cleared up my hangover and constipation all in one go

were a few ok reform waves in the bay. taken day b4 when it was onshore and not as windy;

surfers got the best of the conditions when the wind switched

Discretion was the better part of valour!!

Probably a good call...I nearly drowned at Margs in similar conditions when I went over the falls, lost my kit and got held under too long .
Started hyperventilating and couldn't recover. Some legend old guy rescued my arse

I wouldn't sail out there again without a buoyancy vest on...scary $hit!!

Those first two shots, it looks closed out. It would have been impossible to make it out the back. Was there anyone else sailing out there?

yeah, there was a channel when i set off, but it didnt last for long and there was lots of reef out back, poppin up everywhere....blastin around in the bay was a better option

Can't believe you went out. As NR put it, "it looks evil out there".
