Bought my son a Ripstick the other day and though that I would show him how to use it.

After a few good runs the board came out from under me and I landed on my arm and broke the elbow.

Now I am looking at months of recovery.

I prefer falling on water much more!

Ouch! If your going to do it, do it during winter. I was off for couple months after breaking my wrist this time last year.

You forgot the golden rule. When you are about to catapult sheet in so you do a forward instead!

Don't worry mate - you can earn some serious brownie points around the house so you can do more sailing when you are healed.

The pain will fast disappear on the right medication.
Make sure you use some pain relief that allows to you heal fast and then strengthen the arm again.

This was prescribed for me and suggested by my Dr.
Panadol Osteo x2 morning and night, keep doing this for at least 8 weeks while pain persists.
Inza 500 (Naproxen) Need a Dr's prescription
These worked really well for me post op after my 2nd ACL reconstruction and rehab and also my broken wrist.
You need to have someone medical to help work out a plan but you might suggest these as they worked for me.
