A huge congrats to Mike Thomson from the Cockroaches who yesterday afternoon clocked up a massive 25,000 k's!!!!!
A superb effort seeing he doesn't get to sail during the week and racks up 100 + k days on the weekend easily.
No wonder we call him the Energiser Bunny
A great all round sailor, well done MT.

wow, how cool is that! 40,000km is the circumference of the world so more that halfway around the world.

Well done Michael, 25,000 kms logged is amazing. You sailing 100kms plus after most others finish up after sailing 40 or 50 kms is a regular occurrence.

Here is a short video I made of Michael sailing some of those kms last year. It shows many of those kms were sailed in fairly challenging and choppy conditions. The video is quite shaky as I did not have a tripod that day.
