We have a camper so am hoping we can camp pretty close and just hit the water at will (well not literally ) that could hurt.
But I will keep searching and when I find said location I will surely post again

To all I have booked site 100 under the fig tree at Burrum Heads Beachfront Caravan park this is where we camp each year any one is welcome to set up around us its a bit away from the beach launch area but its the best park in Burrum apart from the noisey birds at sun rise & set.
To book just ring & tell the manager that you want to camp next to Glynn with the windsurfing group around site 100

Booked our accommodation a few days ago, cant wait, could be two in my family entering in 2012
Just to let you know that the "Sands Motel" has completed a renovation and is now up and running.
With less than 8 weeks to go, why not book for a week and enjoy the company of at least a dozen other windsurfers keen to try for the Burrum Nautical Mile Australian Record currently held by B-rad.
Tempting, very tempting, but getting there and bringing gear over from WA would be awkward.
RAY ,we are coming for the week before and after the contest, the tides look good for the week leading up to the event should be great, hope to see alot of people at Burrum.
